The bowl is manufactured from 100% naturally shed sheaths of the Areca Catechu palm. The raw material is washed using water without added chemicals and formed using a heat-pressing process at 180°C.
It features a 3 cm deep profile with a material thickness of 1.5 to 2.5 mm, providing a firm structure for serving hot and cold foods. Heat-pressed reinforcement ribs improve strength, while smooth polished edges provide comfortable handling during food preparation and serving.
The natural palm sheath gives every bowl a unique appearance, with minimal natural grain variation covering approximately 10 to 15% of the surface. Products are inspected to maintain zero tolerance for cracks and edge defects.
The deep bowl design is suitable for foods containing liquids such as soups, curries, cereals and desserts. The rigid structure helps the bowl maintain its shape during normal food-service use.
The bowl is resistant to oil and moisture and can hold liquids for 6 to 8 hours under normal serving conditions. It is suitable for temperatures from -20°C to 120°C, making it suitable for both chilled and hot food applications.
