These plates are manufactured from 100% naturally shed sheaths of the Areca Catechu palm. The raw material is cleaned using water without added chemicals and formed using a heat-pressing process at 180°C.
Each plate has a material thickness of 1.5 to 2.5 mm and features heat-pressed reinforcement ribs that provide additional rigidity during normal food-service use. Smooth polished edges improve handling, while the flat nesting design allows the plates to stack closely for packing and transportation.
The natural palm sheath gives every plate its own appearance, with minimal natural grain variation covering approximately 10 to 15% of the surface. Products are inspected to maintain zero tolerance for cracks and edge defects.
The shallow profile offers a stable serving surface for a wide range of hot and cold foods while allowing efficient stacking during storage and distribution.
The plates are resistant to oil and moisture and can hold liquids for 6 to 8 hours under normal serving conditions. They are suitable for temperatures from -20°C to 120°C, making them appropriate for both chilled and hot food applications.
The plates are microwave compatible for up to 2 minutes at high power and can be used in ovens at temperatures up to 200°C for a maximum of 45 minutes.

The plates are supplied in shrink-wrapped POF packs of 10 pieces, with one silica gel sachet included per pack to help control moisture during storage and transportation.
