Costita offers Round Bagasse Plates in 6-inch and 7-inch sizes for restaurants, cafés, catering businesses, takeaway services, institutional dining and international food-service distributors. Manufactured from 100% renewable sugarcane bagasse pulp, these compact-profile plates provide a practical alternative to conventional disposable tableware for serving hot and cold foods.
The compact round design is suitable for fast-paced food-service operations where consistent portioning, convenient stacking and efficient handling are important. Available in natural beige or chlorine-free white, the plates are suitable for snacks, desserts, side dishes and light meals across a wide range of commercial applications.
6-Inch Round: Suitable for desserts, snacks, appetisers, bread and small side servings.
7-Inch Round: Suitable for side dishes, light meals, salads and moderate food portions.
The plates are manufactured from 100% renewable sugarcane bagasse pulp using a heat-pressed molding process. They have a uniform wall thickness of 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm, providing a firm structure for commercial food-service applications.
The plates are available in natural beige or chlorine-free bleached white finishes. Each plate features a smooth, uniform surface, clean machine-cut edges with no burrs, and a neutral, odourless finish. Manufacturing includes high-heat UV treatment after molding. The material is 100% PFAS-free, with no intentionally added fluorine.
The plates are suitable for temperatures from -25°C to +220°C. They are certified for microwave use for 2 to 3 minutes at high power and are suitable for oven use up to 220°C for a maximum of 30 minutes.
The material is resistant to hot oil up to 120°C and hot water up to 100°C. Depending on the selected size, the plates can support food loads from 500 g to 800 g. Their tight stackable design allows convenient storage and handling in commercial kitchens and food-service operations.
The plates are supplied in packs of 50 pieces, wrapped in shrink film or paper wrap, and packed in 5-ply or 7-ply heavy-duty corrugated cartons for storage and export.
The compact nesting profile supports efficient stacking during storage and transportation. Products should be stored in a dry, ventilated area with relative humidity below 60%.

The plates are manufactured with high-heat UV treatment after molding and comply with FDA (US) and LFGB (EU) food-contact requirements.
They are certified BPI (ASTM D6400) and TÜV OK Compost (Home and Industrial). Production maintains zero tolerance for density defects, clean machine-cut edges, a uniform batch colour and a moisture level of less than 5% after oven drying.
